The European Social Fund will hand £22 million to 32 job-focused projects in England.A pledge to invest £22 million of European money into training and creating jobs was outlined by the government yesterday. The European Social Fund will provide the cash to 32 "innovative" projects across England, with an emphasis on helping people from all sections of society find work. Tyne and Wear and the east and west of London are among the places set to profit from the scheme though the City Strategy Pathfinders scheme.
