Microsoft showcases Arc Touch mouse
Microsoft has launched its innovate new mouse that can be folded flat and carried around with ease.
IT professionals will be able to get their hands on one of the devices when it hits the shelves in November, with the tech firm saying it will be priced at around £69.99.
The Arc Touch is a pop-up mouse that features and intuitive touch scroll strip for ease of use, negating the need for clickable buttons.
Tapping on the strip makes the device respond in the same way as a conventional mouse click, while it also has haptic technology to provide physical feedback so people know when they have clicked on something.
Despite assertions from rivals Apple that the mouse was coming to the end of its days, Microsoft stated its belief that computer users still preferred the traditional device.
Apple recently launched the Magic Trackpad, a buttonless multi-touch pad which can be used instead of a mouse.
