Apple launches Mac Mini
Apple has launched its new Mac Mini which gives tech workers double the graphical power in the same compact frame.
Despite the technology giant's recent focus on its mobile devices, with the iPad and iPhone 4 grabbing all the headlines, its Mac business is still making waves too.
The Mac Mini includes a NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics processer and is just 1.4 inches thick, while the firm also claims it is the most energy efficient desktop available.
Apple's diminutive machine comes with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a slot-load 8X SuperDrive optical drive for reading and writing DVDs and CDs, and a 320GB hard drive.
Earlier this year it was revealed that Apple had overtaken its traditional rival, Microsoft, as the IT industry's most valuable firm.
Its share price value was reported to be $220.07 billion (£152 billion), edging it ahead of Microsoft's $219.18.
