Opportunity for project manager staff to learn the benefits of social media
Financial services specialists, project manager staff and hardware developers are all invited to a recruitment event aimed at highlighting the benefits of social media.
The Social Media in Recruitment event will feature a range of speakers covering all areas of social media to ensure people know their Twitter from their Facebook and the ways in which each medium may be able to benefit their organisation.
Held at the British Library Conference Centre in London on April 22nd, it is the UK's second Social Media in Recruitment Conference, reports Recruitment Times.
The subject areas to be covered at the conference include strategies for using LinkedIn, insights from Google, advice on how to maximise the use of Facebook pages and how to use Twitter effectively.
Organiser Mike Taylor said: "Whether you are already using social media in recruitment or are looking at ways to introduce social media into your organisation, there will be plenty of information and strategies shared at the conference."
Almost four in ten employers plan to develop their social media presence in 2010, according to a poll by careerbuilder.com.
