Building Surveyor – Adaptations/Disabled Facilities Grants

Role – Surveyor/Technical Officer

Rate – NEG but roughly £25-£28 per/hour umbrella

Location – Midlands

Client – Council

A good local authority client of mine in the Midlands are seeking an experienced Surveyor/Technical Officer to take on an exciting 9 month assignment with a view of extension.

This is to be part of a busy team that do the full remit of Disabled Facilities Grants work taking initial OT referrals all the way through the process to completion.

This will involved dealing with property visits, measuring up for works, creating schedule of works, drawings and advising on the best Adaptations for the applicant such as Ramps, Stair lifts, Access Showers, Conversions and Handrails etc.

If you have similar experience in either a Home Improvement Agency, Council or Housing Association then this role may be suitable for you.
