Commissioning and Programme Manager – Adult Social Care

Location – London

Rate – DOE

On site – 1 day/wk

Hours – 37.5

Role requirements –

This Commissioning and Programme Manager role will be working within Adult Social Care with a focus around Older People. This role will have supervisory/management responsibility for a number of staff. The post holder is required to manage programmes and projects in conjunction with a range of partners within and outside the organisation, to be responsible for delivering projects that have significant risk and/ or significant budgets or savings targets (e.g. c£10m) in conjunction with operational colleagues, external stakeholders and independent providers that result in improved outcomes for service users.

About you –

  • Experience of leading and commissioning new initiatives and of delivering projects that result in substantial change
  • Experience of working with service users, service colleagues and partners to create change that is co-designed.
  • Experience engaging with providers and creating an atmosphere of partnership and cooperation to deliver positive outcomes, including the ability to negotiate, influence and work in partnerships.
