My Private Sector client are looking for a Permanent Commissioning Services Manager to join their well established Care Home organisation and work at a regional level across the South East.
Salary – 49,000
Work style – Fully remote
Hours – 40/wk
Main responsibilities –
To partner and manage relationships with around 40 LA and NHS Commissioning organisations in the South East region, prioritising the most important by the number of beds and homes, in order to attract and secure top-tier funding and align the care offering with demand for care
To lead on the negotiation of fees and contractual terms with public sector commissioners and to secure top-tier funding
To co-ordinate and contribute to the drafting tenders to win new business
Lead on the review of existing contracts for operational deliverability and financial return. Renegotiate terms where needed.
About you –
A well-developed understanding of how the ASC system works in England, Scotland, and Wales.
Experience of social care contract management from either provider or commissioning side
Social care service development experience or experience of providing or commissioning social care
Knowledge of the regulations and legislation relevant to Care Homes
