Role – DFG Caseworker (administration)
Duration – 3 Months
Location – Remote working
Client – Council
One of my local authority clients in the UK are seeking an experienced DFG or Adaptations Caseworker to join their team to help clear a backlog of outstanding applications in their Disabled Facilities Grants team.
This role will be administration based so will involve but not be limited to:
– Taking phone call and email enquiries from potential applicants looking to have Adaptations made to their home. This could be ramps/wet rooms/stair lifts etc.
– Running financial suitability tests to ensure applicants are eligible for the assistance from the local authority, this can be referred to as Means Testing.
– It is essential to have used Ferret IT system for the Means Testing but if you have also used Civica that would be a bonus.
This role will be umbrella paid and we have a list of 5 suppliers we can help pay you for this role via.
