Embedded Software Developer

Permanent position, full-time · Munich

I am looking for an embedded software developer for a client within Robotics and Sensor Technology in Munich, on a permanent basis.

Here the person must come from the embedded area (with embedded C knowledge) and preferably have already worked with the microcontroller STM32 and the Arm Cortex M architecture (nice to have).

Your Tasks:

• Defining, optimizing and further developing new product (sensors), expand the system architectures and integrate communication interfaces and protocols.
• Support hardware development in the validation and commissioning of system components.
• Implement new ideas and concepts on the hardware (sensor or processing unit) by expanding and improving existing software components.

Your Skills:

• Ideally, 2-5 years of professional experience in the relevant field.
• You are an expert in Microcontroller Embedded C.
• At best, you have in-depth knowledge of the following architectures: ARM Cortex (M7), STM32, 32-bit processor.
• Experience with Linux.
• Experience in the programming languages C++ or Python is an advantage
• Ideally, you have practical experience in testing prototypes and new hardware components.

Ideally, I am looking for a candidate who is available to start as soon as possible, but notice periods can be taken into account.
