For a client is a leading provider of AI, Deep Learning and 3D imaging sensor technology for Robotics applications, whose technology is used by companies such as VW, Toyota, AstraZeneca, Caterpillar, Continental, DHL, Bosch, YASKAWA and ABB.

They are a rapidly growing company which has grown from 3 to +500 in the past 3 years and is still growing.

For their office in Munich, I am looking for several Field Application Engineers with background and experience in Robotics and 3D vision applications to provide technical support from customer inquiry to final acceptance.

What you will be doing:

• Design and planning of 3D Vision applications according to customer requirements in the field of hardware and software
• Commissioning and final acceptance of 3D Vision applications with different robot models at the customer’s site
• Performing and documenting feasibility studies
• Sales support for project initiation through technical consulting
• Carrying out application and product trainings
• Close cooperation with sales and development for the purpose of product optimization (hardware & software)
• Technical support for customer inquiries as well as application support

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering or education with relevant professional experience in the field of robotics/commissioning.
• Ideally, background and industry experience in research and/or development in the fields of Robotics, AI, Computer Vision, Deep Learning
• Hands-on mentality when dealing with complex problems
• Strong Service oriented mindset & Customer Service
• Programming knowledge in Python and/or PLC is a bonus
• Willingness to travel to customers within the DACH region, up to 50%
