G2 are currently looking for several Mechanically biased engineers to work on a brownfield waste water project. The project is the refurbishment of a large waste water plant in South East England.
The client is working on municipal water related projects, the ideal candidate would have experience working with clean or waste water clients in the UK municipal sector.
The client is managing the design and build contract, you would be involved in the design phase picking up mechanical packages of work and delivering them through design into procurement and delivery.
The client is happy for consultant freelancers to be based remotely with occasional visits to sites in and around London.
Mechanical Project Engineer Specification:
START: ASAP – Immediate
LOCATION: Remote working – Project in Greater London
DURATION: Rolling Six Month Rolling Contract
RATES: Market Rates
IR35 Status – TBC
Mechanical Engineering bias – mechanical projects and delivery background
Mechanical (pump/pipe sizing, equipment spec sheets, equipment selection, data sheets ect..)
Water, Waste Water background preferable (similar industry accepted)
Ability to use CAD beneficial, not essential
5-10+ Years engineering experience
Ability to pick up packages from design and take through engineering to contractors onsite
Site based working experience is very beneficial
The project is two years in total duration, they have the ability to interview and start the successful engineers at short notice and I would be interested to discuss your current situation.
