Mechanical Site Engineer – Outside IR35

G2 are currently looking for a mechanical or M&E engineer (ideally with a commercial fit out or industrial fit out type background) to work on projects onsite at Battersea, London. The client a site based mechanical engineer to join them working through the testing and commissioning phases for MEP systems.

The client is looking for freelance candidates to work supporting ongoing construction, installation and commissioning projects, the project is a major construction and fit-out project covering full installation, commissioning and hand over.

The client will also consider candidates who have suitable mechanical engineering, mechanical/piping package, building services and utilities or fire detection type experience.

START: ASAP – July/August start is feasible

LOCATION: Battersea, West London, UK

DURATION: 6 – 12 months

Specification:

Mechanical or Mechanical Building Services engineering experience

City & Guilds, HND or BEng Mechanical Engineering, Installation or Design type education

5+ years of engineering experience covering either design, engineering or installation experience

Experience working with site based mechanical, piping, pressure or utility type systems covering installation and commissioning

Installation, Commissioning or Testing experience

Experience with high specification commercial fit-outs is the most applicable
