A local authority client in the West Midlands are urgently seeking a Private Sector Housing Officer to join their team due to a number of long standing permanent vacancies meaning the workload is piling up.

You will need to be competent within the Housing Standards world and be HHSRS certified to assess properties for their conditions. A strong background and understanding of HMO properties would also be useful.

Experience with serving notices, taking enforcement action and prosecutions would be ideal.

This authority are allowing district work to be done in batches so a fair bit of work can be done remotely.
