G2 are currently looking for a quality engineer to join my client on a permanent basis in Bristol, North Bristol/M5. The role will be based in the clients engineering office.
The client is working on stainless steel structural fabrication and process plant projects and require a quality engineer to be based in the office supporting engineering, design, procurement, fabrication, and site-based construction.
The client is particularly interested in candidates who have worked on large scale engineering and fabrication projects in the past; the ideal candidate will have experience working in a project’s office, covered fabricated steel manufacturing and site-based inspection experience.
LOCATION: Bristol, North Bristol (close to M4/M5)
SALARY: Up to £40,000 – £45,000 per annum + Package
Quality Engineer – Specification
Quality Engineering background 3+ Years’ experience
Strong quality compliance knowledge (ISO:9001 and associated codes)
ISO 9001 practical experience (ideally implemented in fabrication/production environments)
Previous experience working on fabrication projects, ideally manufacturing sites
Working history with stainless steel fabrication or heavy fabrication, most applicable
Ability to write, analyse and amend quality documentation (NCRs, QTRs, ITPs, procedures and manufacturers documentation)
Site and manufacturing or fabrication project based working history
Quality Auditing of supply chain, supplier audits
Quality Inspection experience (CSWIP 3.0, 3.1 or 3.2)
The client is looking for the successful candidate to start working with the engineering team in the manufacturing facility office. The role will focus on the engineering, delivery, procurement to site, inspection support, construction support and welding activities.
The ideal candidate will be involved with quality engineering, quality auditing and the follow up documentation, experience with quality documentation (writing, review, amendments) is essential for the role.
