Senior Drainage Engineer

A Senior Drainage Engineer is urgently needed to start working at a local authority in South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity for yourself as a Senior Drainage Engineer to join a lead local flood authority in their expansion. Due to their increased work load they are now looking to on board Senior Engineers on a temporary basis.

The successful candidates:

• Familiar with the Design / developments of SUDs (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems).
• Previous experience working in SAB (SUDs Approval Body)
• HNC or Degree Qualification
• A firm working knowledge of Flood Risk regulations and FWMA 2010 act.
• In depth understanding of highway and land drainage construction and maintenance.
• Confident in managing and leading a team of junior / less experienced staff.

You will be expected to attend site 2 days a week. (flexible dependent on site visits)

Rate: Negotiable dependent upon experience.

Contract: 8 months with likely extension
