Role – Temporary Accommodation Officer
Rate – Negotiable, hourly paid via Umbrella.

Duration – Minimum of 3 months +

A client of mine in Hampshire are seeking an experience Temporary Accommodation Officer to join their team to cover sickness for a minimum of 3 months, with a view to extend.

The position will be umbrella paid and we have a list of 5 suppliers to choose from.

The position is to work within a Temporary Accommodation team that are part of the Council’s Housing service.

Duties/Day to Day Responsibilities:

• The role will see you managing a number of hostels/schemes that house residents that have been referred by the Housing Options/Homelessness team.
• You will be required to deal with Tenancy Management, which can sometimes include low level Anti-Social Behaviour.
• Risk and Health and Safety Checks such as Fire Alarms.
• Rent Accounts and very basic support with the clients on things like applying for Universal Credit etc.
• If you have used Orchard IT system before that will be beneficial but not essential.

You will be looking after 3-4 sites across the district within Hampshire and therefore will need to be able to drive and have access to a car for work purposes.

A basic DBS that is in date is required, due to the nature of the work.
