Traffic Service Manager

I am currently looking for a Traffic Manager to join a local authority in the Southwest of England on a temporary basis. The role will consist of managing and overseeing a team of engineers working on a range of minor and large traffic schemes across the council. Due to a recent allocation of capital funding the role will consist of working on new and exciting developments across the local authority.

The Successful candidate:

• Previous experience working on Road improvement, accident prevention and town centre regeneration projects.
• Working knowledge of NEC 3 and NEC 4 contracts management.
• Working knowledge of relevant design standards and Prince 2 project management.
• A firm understanding of local authority processes from previous experience working in the UK public sector.

The client is ready to offer a competitive rate for yourself and is negotiable dependent upon your experience.

Contract length: 6 -months (likely extension)

Hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days from home)
