One of my local authority clients are currently on the lookout for an Accommodation Co-Ordinator to join their team on a fully remote basis and this may be one for you.
You will be expected to manage the provision of temporary accommodation ensuring appropriate placements of homeless clients into interim accommodation along with increasing tenure options for those that are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
Successful applicants will have:
– A detailed knowledge of current housing legislation particularly relating to the private rented sector, guidance and case law. Knowledge of the Housing Health and Safety Rating System.
– Knowledge of homelessness legislation, policy and guidance.
– Experience of dealing with a wide range of people who may present complex and challenging behaviour, face to face, telephone and email.
– Experience in preparing and drafting complex and detailed reports and to be able to communicate these effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience doing the above within a local authority setting as their will be an expectancy to come in and hit the ground running.
Contract: 7 Months
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full Time 37 hours
Please note although this role is fully remote you will be required to use the councils provided equipment and you will need to travel to the council to collect this.
