Avionics Design Engineer

g2 are proud to be partnered with a market leading Aerospace business who are in a state of growth due to project demand. The organisation will require an experienced Avionics Design Engineer to join their dynamic team for a contract length of 12 months (extension likely).
Main tasks:
- The focus is on aircraft modification (e.g. installation of new communication systems in the aircraft)
- Analysis and coordination of technical, operational and aviation law Requirements in cooperation with customers, suppliers and internal Flight Operations, Technology and CAMO departments
- Development of technical solutions based on the approved development process
- Definition and implementation of qualification tests
- Preparation of all necessary documents for the aviation approval, installation and operation of the modifications
Profile
- Aerospace, aeronautical (systems) engineering, electrical engineering or a similar qualification
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of aircraft development or their components with a focus on:
- Electrics/Electronics Engineer: Analog and digital circuit technology, power electronics and aircraft electronics
- Mechanical engineer: Design & calculation of structural components (primary, secondary, cabin), as well as load analyses
- Solid knowledge of the regulations and methods of aircraft certification and Verification according to relevant specifications (EASA Part 21J, CS-25, FAR-25)
- Good knowledge of German and English - business fluent in spoken and written
