Avionics Design Engineer

Freelance role - Avionics Design Engineer - Hamburg

g2 are proud to be partnered with a market leading Aerospace business who are in a state of growth due to project demand. The organisation will require an experienced Avionics Design Engineer to join their dynamic team for a contract length of 12 months (extension likely).

Main tasks:

  • The focus is on aircraft modification (e.g. installation of new communication systems in the aircraft)
  • Analysis and coordination of technical, operational and aviation law Requirements in cooperation with customers, suppliers and internal Flight Operations, Technology and CAMO departments
  • Development of technical solutions based on the approved development process
  • Definition and implementation of qualification tests
  • Preparation of all necessary documents for the aviation approval, installation and operation of the modifications

Profile

  • Aerospace, aeronautical (systems) engineering, electrical engineering or a similar qualification
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of aircraft development or their components with a focus on:
  • Electrics/Electronics Engineer: Analog and digital circuit technology, power electronics and aircraft electronics
  • Mechanical engineer: Design & calculation of structural components (primary, secondary, cabin), as well as load analyses
  • Solid knowledge of the regulations and methods of aircraft certification and Verification according to relevant specifications (EASA Part 21J, CS-25, FAR-25)
  • Good knowledge of German and English - business fluent in spoken and written

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
