Commissioning Manager

About the role:

We are working closely with a client who are looking for a commissioning manager to join them on a 12 month freelance basis in Berlin, to lead a small team of people on an oil + gas power plant.

DURATION: 12 Months

Specification:

  • Lead and manage the commissioning activities for an oil and gas plant, ensuring all systems and components are installed, tested, operated, and maintained according to operational requirements.
  • Oversee a small team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and expertise throughout the commissioning process.
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct safety and quality inspections, ensuring all work complies with industry standards and regulations.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues, implementing effective solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, maintaining clear and open communication with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure all commissioning documentation is accurately maintained and up to date.
  • German speaking is desired

These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
