Construction Coordinator

About the role:

We are currently looking for a Construction Coordinator to work on an opportunity within the Pharmaceuticals Industry. The client has a specific requirement for this person to work on site in Liege, overseeing construction of a building. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is not required but would be preferred.

The client is the main contractor on the project, and they are happy for any candidates with a relevant construction background, ideally in the building construction industry


START: ASAP
LOCATION: Liege, Belgium
DURATION: 4 Months (with potential to extend)

Specification:

· Construction background (experience with office / commercial builds).

· French & English speaking required.

· Experience creating and approving work permits for contractors.

· Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work packages from contractors. .

· Familiarity with HSE & permitting procedures.

The requirement for the role is to supervise all construction projects on the live site. Responsible for effective construction, health and safety and successful package completion.

Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
