Construction Manager

I am currently looking for a Construction Manager to work on an opportunity within the manufacturing sector. The client is working on a long term investment and the project is expected to last until the end of 2025.

The client is building a brand new factory for the processing and production of foods. They are ideally looking for candidates with a strong track record of delivering greenfield projects.

START: ASAP

LOCATION: Amsterdam

Contract length – 12 Month Contract (likely to extend for another year)

Specification:

  • At least 5-10+ years experience as a site / construction manager.
  • Dutch language skills with English fluency
  • Experience instilling good health & safety activities on site.
  • Mechanical / piping projects experience
  • Experience with green and/or brownfield projects.
  • Awareness of commercial / contractual aspects of projects.

The requirement for the role is to supervise all construction works on the live construction site. Responsible for effective construction, health and safety and successful project completion.

Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
