My client is looking for a Construction Supervisor for Overhead Line Construction – This is a 12 month contract!

Job Title: Construction Supervisor for Overhead Line Construction
Location: Bremen – Hannover area – Germany
Duration: 12 months from June 2024

German speaking!
Activity:

  • Construction Supervisor for Overhead Line Construction in Germany
  • Monitoring of all processes of construction and assembly services and material inventory
  • Tracking of deadlines and evaluation of construction progress, target/actual comparison, etc.
  • Support of the construction coordinator, participation in and documentation of meetings
  • Recording of defects and initiation of rectification
  • Execution / monitoring of documentation on construction progress + revision documents

Essential skills:

  • Engineer, technician in the field of overhead line construction (civil engineer or comparable education)
  • Knowledge in overhead line construction in Germany, especially the regulations and requirements of overhead line projects in Germany
  • Independent, project- and goal-oriented way of working
  • Proficiency in the German language, both spoken and written

Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
