One of our Local Authority clients based in the South are currently looking for a DFG/ Aids & Adaptations Surveyor to join their Adaptations team for a period of at least 6 months.
Surveyors will be expected to oversee/manage projects from initial technical specifications and conception up until final project signoff.
Job Description
- Liaise with occupational therapists and customers to determine requirements to provide advice on planned works.
- Carry out surveys across both Council and Privately owned properties for adaptations.
- Create adaptation specifications using AutoCAD and produce it’s associated schedule of works.
- Ensure legislative requirements are met at all times (Law, Building and Planning Regulation).
There is a minimum requirement for a HNC/HND in either Construction or a degree in any type of surveying to be considered for this position.
Additional Details:
Working Pattern – 3 days on-site, 2 days remote.
Contract: 6 months.
Rate: £27-£33p/h
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 37 per week
