E&I Supervisor

Hi there,

I am contacting you as I am currently looking for an E&I Supervisor to join my client. The package of work will be required to be carried out onsite in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

The client is an oil & gas (LNG) and petrochemical end client working on a broad range of sustainable CAPEX investment projects.

LOCATION: Rotterdam, The Netherlands


START: ASAP (April ideally)

DURATION: 12 months rolling freelance contract

Essential Skills: Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor

  • Electrical & Instrumentation supervision – 5+ years.
  • MBO working & thinking level. MBO-4 education in Electrical & Instrumentation.
  • Ideally a range of low, medium, and high voltage experience.
  • Ability to provide feedback to work quality and installation work drawings.
  • Experience working in the field (on-site) as the role will be 90% office/site based.
  • E&I installation work carried out on oil & gas / petrochemical / energy projects.
  • Knowledge of site-based safety standards.
  • Education & training in ATEX, NEN 3140, NEN 3180 and NEN 1010, E&I installation.
  • Dutch & English language skills.


  • Leading the coordination, control & supervision of the contractors on site.
  • Checking of the E&I equipment / installations (both old & new).
  • Carrying out internal communication with the Project Management Team and external communication with contractors.
  • Carry out LOTO checks and ensure good work quality in ATEX environments.
  • Preparation of work permits, planning documents, work, and contractors.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.

His role involves teaching the consultants that are new to the company the foundations of recruitment and our systems before then helping them to upskill in areas specific to each consultant. Working closely with different consultants and watching them implement the feedback, apply it, and then benefit off the back of it.
