Electrical Engineer

G2 are currently looking for an Electrical (EC&I) Engineer to join my client in Germany, offices on the West side of Cologne, who are currently looking for an electrical engineer to join them on onshore process plant projects.

The client requires an electrical engineer to work on ongoing projects for various process industries, the client uses a unique technology for onsite power generation.

The role would be to work as an electrical engineer, covering electrical design, engineering, and package engineering. This would be through concept, feasibility studies, pre-feed and feed activities. There would also be active project delivery support.

Electrical Engineer – Electrical Package Engineer – Specification:

START: July or August starts feasible

LOCATION: Germany, Cologne

SALARY: €60,000 – €75,000 per annum + package

Essential Skills:

Electrical Engineering background (5+ years’ experience).

Experience working on industrial / energy / power generation projects.

Electrical engineering analysis or design engineer – low voltage experience is essential

Projects experience covering electrical cabinets, control systems, relays, MCCs etc..

Knowledge of instrumentation (mainly metering systems) and plc/controls (software knowledge not required)

Ability to do basic and detailed design, as well as put together work packages for vendors.

Understanding of engineering design software, for review, designing with software is not required

English language is essential, German language skills are also beneficial

The client is working on an electrical system packages, this will involve confirming the scope of work, requirement of the client, designing & specifying voltage electrical packages so that vendors can deliver the correct equipment & designs. The client is an turnkey solutions supply company working with major process plant clients internationally.

His role involves teaching the consultants that are new to the company the foundations of recruitment and our systems before then helping them to upskill in areas specific to each consultant. Working closely with different consultants and watching them implement the feedback, apply it, and then benefit off the back of it.
