Electronics Engineer

My true market leading client has a superb new opening for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join them on a permanent basis from their base in Cambridge.

Due to the nature of the work this role requires near full on-site working.

Candidates must have proven experience designing complex high frequency electronics. You will be joining an SME where you will have huge variety and cover everything within electronics design – you will have a lot of autonomy and authority to really make you mark and must be happy to roll up your sleeves in the lab.

The role will appeal to those who want to be hands-on at all level of electronics. You may have been a manager in a bluechip who has felt constrained and is looking for the opposite of what that role may have entailed or you may have always been hands-on and enjoyed what that part of being an electronics engineer brought to you.

Candidates must have sound PCB design engineering experience, with the ability to specify, V&V and document complex designs.

Good EMC experience is required, as is both an analogue and digital background.

The position also involves a lot of research so will likely be of interest to those with a PhD – again this isn’t essential.

FPGA development experience is a bonus but by no means required. If you wish to gain experience here then you will get the chance to do so.

Salary ~£80k dependent on experience.
