Environment, Health and Safety Manager

One of our clients are currently looking for a HSE Manager to join them on a permanent basis to support their site in Rotterdam.

The role would require a HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) Manager to join them in Q1 2024, the role would be based on their live production plant and you would be managing the HSEQ teams.

The client is a petrochemical plant operator, they have ongoing operational and maintenance projects, as well as an expansion of the existing plant. This is a major CAPEX project and you would be working on the client operator side supporting both OPEX and CAPEX functions.

START: Q1 2024

SALARY: €80,000 – €140,000 per annum + Car + Package

LOCATION: Rotterdam, Central


– HSSE/EHS/HSE technical background with relevant certification

– Relevant HSE certification, qualified for site based working (MVK or HVK)

– Experience with major OPEX, EPC or CAPEX projects

– Ideally experience working with client side plant operators

– Strong hands on safety management experience

– Excellent English language skills (Dutch is beneficial)

The client has an immediate vacancy and is able to interview before Xmas, they would be happy for the successful candidate to mobilise at your earliest convenience.

The client is looking to strengthen an existing team, the role would be to support HSE for their operational, maintenance and projects team. You would be working as the safety (HSE) manager with two advisors working under you.

The role requires a HSE Manager who is confident in advising operational as well as construction site based staff on health, safety and environmental issues.

Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.

His role involves teaching the consultants that are new to the company the foundations of recruitment and our systems before then helping them to upskill in areas specific to each consultant.
