EPC Project Manager

I am currently looking for a Project Manager to work on a project for a client in Amsterdam. The client is beginning preparations for a large EPC project involving circular economy. The client is based in Amsterdam but the plant will be built elsewhere in the Netherlands.

They require a Project Manager who can manage all stage of the project including engineering, legal, commercial, contracts procurement, construction,

The project is projected to run until end of 2025 if there are no delays, but the initial contract may be shorter until certain project milestones are hit.

Project Manager Specification:

START: Between June-July 2023

LOCATION: Amsterdam with home working allowed as required.

DURATION: Project until 2025, initial contract likely to be around 12 months.

Essential Skills:

10-15+ Years’ Project Manager experience in any process plant industry.

Engineering or Construction background, experience working on large CAPEX projects over 10m€.

Experience working through all engineering, legal, commercial, contracts, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.

Ability to work with local authorities and major stakeholders to negotiate contracts, and use these contracts to select and negotiate with suppliers.

Ability to select, negotiate and manage subcontracts.

Ability to coordinate an organized project execution with multiple suppliers on site at any given time.

Dutch speaking is highly preferred.

The client has an immediate requirement and will be able to interview ASAP.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.

His role involves teaching the consultants that are new to the company the foundations of recruitment and our systems before then helping them to upskill in areas specific to each consultant. Working closely with different consultants and watching them implement the feedback, apply it, and then benefit off the back of it.
