Food Safety Officer

INTERVIEWS NEXT WEEK – Wales – Food Safety Officer – Job Opportunity!

One of my local authority clients based in the Wales are currently on the lookout for a Food Safety Officer to join their team on an interim basis.

You will be responsible for completing Category level C & D inspections throughout the borough along with writing and sending written reports following inspections. There is scope for admin duties to be completed remotely.

Previous experience doing the above, and having up to date Food Safety CPD’s is an essential requirement for this role as there is full expectancy from the end client to be able to come in and hit the ground running.

You do not necessarily need to be an EHO although it would be beneficial and it is also desirable that you have experience conducting food safety inspections within the public sector but private sector experience will still be considered.

The preference is to get a full time officer (37 hours) in but the client is also open to X2 P/T Officers to make up the workloads.

This role is likely to be paid by the hour but should pay per inspection be your preference this too can also possibly be considered.
