As the Head of Project Management, you will be responsible for overseeing a diverse project management portfolio and leading the successful execution of various engineering projects.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Manage, support and guide external freelance (ZZP) project managers
- Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the engineering department.
Engineering Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement the project strategy aligned with the overall business goals, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Drive project and engineering excellence by implementing best practices, new technologies, and innovative approaches.
- Monitor and evaluate engineering processes, work flows, and standards to optimise productivity and minimise risks.
- Oversee and manage complex engineering projects from initiation through to successful completion, ensuring adherence to time lines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, production, and R&D to integrate engineering initiatives seamlessly.
- Management of external contractors is essential
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong technical expertise in project principles, design, and execution.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex engineering projects within budget and time line constraints.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and safety standards.
- Up-to-date knowledge of emerging engineering trends, technologies, and practices.
