A University client of mine within the Midlands are seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team on a temporary 3-6 month contract basis. There is also the opportunity to go temp – perm for the right candidate.
The role will be hybrid working and on site for 2-3 days per/week so you will need to live within a radius of the West Midlands.
Day To Day Duties will consist of but not be limited to:
– Conducting risk assessments on various departments such as Engineering Workshops, Laboratories, Medical Workshops and general Facilities Management of a University campus.
– You will need a knowledge and background of Corporate Health & Safety/H&S. This will involve taking on any training and running Health and Safety measures across the day to day running of the University.
– A NEBOSH Certificate would be accept but a NEBOSH Diploma would be preferred.
