One of my local authority clients based within South Wales are looking for an experience EHO/Health & Safety Officer for a 6 month initial contract.
The role will be to act as the Lead H&S Officer around commercial Health and Safety investigation, inspections and any enforcement required.
Duties:
- Investigation and Inspections of Commercial Health and Safety Premises/Businesses.
- Undertake any Enforcement Action required.
- Conduct risk assessments and write RIDDOR reports, to then give advice to businesses within the area on improvements that can be made.
You will need to have previous Local Authority/Council experience in this type of role.
