I’m working an opportunity at the moment to work with a great long standing local authority client of mine to work as a Housing Solutions Officer with their housing team. A spot in this amazing team has surprisingly opened up ahead of schedule and is a great opportunity to make a difference in the community preventing and assessing homelessness in line with part 7 of the HRA 2017. You will be completing S184 decision letters, managing your own case load and also will be required to complete duty work once per week in this bustling team alongside a mixture of other solutions officers.
Here’s what you need to know:
Role – Housing Solutions Officer
Contract Length – 3 month initial – very high likelihood of extension (depending on experience)
Working pattern – Hybrid 2 days in office pw (flexible)
Rate – £25-27ph (open to negotiation)
Location – Local authority based in Hertfordshire
Start date – Start of September (TBC)
Only apply if you:
- Have direct experience in writing Section 184 decision letters in line with part 7 of the HRA 2017 and related legislations.
- Have experience in using LOCATA housing IT systems.
- Are able to commute to the office 2 days a week.
- Have a basic DBS and the right to work in the UK.
