I am representing a client on a large-scale project which entails turnkey delivery where they are responsible for the project design, procurement, provision and integration of all components and services required for substation operations with system. As well as the construction from the planning phase to the final tendering.
My client is looking for an experienced HSE manager to work on a construction site for the EPC on a Turnkey AC electrical substation project. The project will involve electrical high-voltage switch-gear for renewable and conventional power generation, as well as power transmission.

* €110,000 salary

Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Health & safety and environmental requirements (HSE) meet the highest standards and are efficiently coordinated and implemented in accordance with legal requirements
* Quality-related activities and services of the project are implemented efficiently on the construction site and thus the project-specific quality requirements are met.
* Regular exchange with the construction site manager, the customer’s health and safety department and internal specialist departments.
* Ensure that the construction site organisation and subcontractors comply with the project specifications, the client and all local laws and regulations.
* Participate in all meetings regarding occupational safety and the environment.
* Support in the development and regular review of the construction site safety concept and safe working methods.

Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
