HSE Manager

We are looking for an HSE Manager to join a large food production client just outside of Kortrijk.

 

The client is looking for an HSE Manager to assist on a full-time contract for the next 24 months to assist with a current increase in workload, you would be part of the sites HSE team working to increase the Safety culture in the warehouse, increase safety during the Day-to-Day operations on site, and help the logistics department in rolling out the new safety plan. The client has advised that this could be completed 3 days per week if necessary.

Some main tasks include conducting Risk assessments on food production lines as well as increasing Safety culture with current workers.

 

START: ASAP

LOCATION: Kortrijk

CONTRACT LENGTH – 24 months

HOURS: 5 days per week

Specification:

  • At least 4 years’ experience within HSE
  • Dutch Fluency
  • Preventieadviseur level 2
  • Experience working as part of an internal HSE team
  • Experience within a production environment, Food, Pharmaceutical, Chemical etc.
  • A motivation to drive good safety practice.
  • A people person, positive and motivational with workers

The requirement for the role is to assist in internal HSEQ projects – training, Programmes and procedures to rollout, conduct risk assessments and Incident investigations on site whilst also increasing safety culture. You will also be in charge of a small team.

Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
