Interim Chief Accountant – Outside IR35

Role – Interim Chief Accountant
Duration – 5 months +
Scope – Outside of IR35 – Ltd Paid
End Client – A Local Authority in England
Working Style – Fully Remote
Rate – Negotiable DOE Per/Day

G2 are working on behalf of a local authority client in the East of England who are seeking a highly experienced Chief Accountant for a 5 month initial contract.

The role is to take over from another interim that is moving on so there will be a phased handover period due to the role you will be work on.

Main Duties:
– Pick up a partially completed set of local government accounts and take from start to end. Preparing of the statement of accounts for 21/22.
– Lead on the transformation changes within the Financial Controlling team.

Experience and Qualifications Needed:
– Fully Qualified Accountant – CCAB etc (QBE will not be accepted).
– Extensive experience dealing with preparation of a statement accounts and dealing with any queries that may arise. You must have been the lead on this rather than supported before.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
