Lead Electrical Engineer

G2 are currently looking for a freelance Lead Electrical Engineer for a client based in North Holland.

They require someone with technical experience in working on high voltage electrical grids / substations with the aim for a long-term collaboration.

Lead Electrical Engineer North Holland

START: December 2023.

DURATION: 12 months rolling contract. Projects running to 2025.

LOCATION: North of The Netherlands.

WORKING PATTERN: 24-40 hours per week (flexible). On site.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • 5-10 + years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer.
  • MBO or HBO education in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Automation.
  • Experience in designing, specifying, and detailing electrical installations in the medium and high voltage grid.
  • Troubleshooting experience and problem solving in the field.
  • Dutch language skills

ROLE & RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Prepare and execute system engineering, installation, and commissioning for high voltage systems.
  • Utilise your knowledge of underground infrastructures, cables or medium voltage substations works.
  • Write plans and safeguarding in Dutch for substations.
  • Deliver electrical engineering on projects in line with contract deadlines.

These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
