Lead Project Engineer

Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers to join our client who is primarily focused on the offshore EPIC projects. Netherlands based, European projects.

The client has a need for Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers (Package Manager) to join them on a permanent basis to support offshore energy related projects (Wind, Oil & Gas, Decommissioning Oil & Gas).

The role will suit projects personnel with experience in the offshore construction and service sectors, ideal experience will be working on IRM projects with EPC or service companies.

Specific experience for IRM - Inspection Repair and Maintenance, covering offshore Oil & Gas (RIG, FPSO, SURF equipment, Decommissioning or Wind Projects.

Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer - English Speaking

START: March, April or May 2025

LOCATION: South of Rotterdam Region, hybrid working

SALARY: €6,000 - €8,000 per month + excellent package

Essential Skills:

4-10 Years' Projects or Engineering experience - ideally within the offshore industry

Technical Engineering background - Mechanical, Subsea, Construction or Structural beneficial

Experience working on offshore projects, ideally for EPC or installation/service contractors

Experience with IRM Projects (specification, planning, execution and offshore support)

English speaking is highly preferred.

The client is an offshore EPC company who works across a broad range of offshore projects; covering offshore package management, project management for delivery, engineering & design and Transportation & Installation, and survey & Maintenance for the Wind and Oil & Gas sectors.

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
