Mechanical Engineer

About the role:

g2 Recruitment’s client is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team based near to Dordrecht, Netherlands.

The client is particularly interested in candidates with experience covering static and rotating equipment in the Oil & Gas industry.

The client is an equipment manufacturer in the Oil & Gas industry, manufacturing various type of equipment, but you would be working on the design and analysis for fire protection systems.



Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: €4,000 – €6,000 Euros per month + holiday + package

Location: Dordrecht, South Holland, Netherlands

Start: October, November, December 2024

Responsibilities:

  • Machine/equipment manufacturing experience
  • Working history in the Oil and Gas or highly regulated industries
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Experience with mechanical equipment such as piping, valves, pumps and compressors
  • Knowledge of software for engineering, design and analysis (Solidworks, SolidEdge, Ansys, etc)
  • Fluent English is essential, Dutch is preferred.

The client has advised they have an immediate requirement for the mechanical engineer to join them, they have an office based in South Holland, Netherlands. They also work on a flexible working basis from home and their office.

The client has advised that they would be happy to have candidates based in Netherlands already or would be prepared to move to the South Holland region.

These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
