Location – Hampshire
Role – Housing Officer/Neighbourhood Officer
Duration – Until End of October 2023 – possible extension
Hours – 37 per/week across 5 days, all on site and no remote working due to the nature of the work.
Rate – Negotiable Per/Hour £ DOE – this will be umbrella paid.
Compliance Documents Required – Clean UK Driving License and a Clean Basic/Enhanced DBS.
Travel – Vehicle provided by the Council.
A good local authority client of mine are seeking an experienced Neighbourhood Officer to join their team until the end of October with a possibility of a contract extension.
This role is for immediate start and interviews are being held this Wednesday via Microsoft Teams.
The day to day duties, will include but not be limited to:
– Conducting Health & Safety Checks/Inspections to Council owned properties. This will be blocks of flats, garages and any open spaces.
– You will be looking to identify possible repairs required for the Tenants and then book them in appropriately if there is any Health and Safety risk identified.
You will NOT need to deal with an ASB or general Tenancy Management based work.
Due to the nature of the role you will have to be able to drive and have a full clean UK drivers license. The Council provide a Fleet Vehicle so you will be using that to conduct visits and therefore do not need to drive your own car around the district.
