JOB OPPORTUNITY – Taxi Licensing Officer – East Midlands
A local authority client of mine within the East Midlands are seeking a Taxi Licensing Officer for a contract initially until the end of September 2023.
This role will be hybrid working but due to the nature of work you will need to be in office/on site for X2 days per week.
You will be the key person responsible for everything private hire taxi licensing and Hackney carriage taxi licensing related for the council.
You will be expected to receive and process taxi licensing applications, deal with signing off new licenses along with the renewal of licenses, do inspections of vehicles, compliance checks on driver details, vehicle safety etc. along with applying enforcement where needed.
Successful candidates will have a minimum of 12 months experience doing the above within a local authority setting as there will be an expectancy to be able to hit the ground running.
