Offshore Wind Project Manager

Offshore Wind Project Manager – Hamburg – Hybrid
Contract: 18-month Contract
Start date: ASAP
Rate: DOE

Our current client is a global geothermal company providing Germany with more than 300MWs. You must be an Experience Project Manager with previous expertise in handing geothermal large-scale projects.
Candidate experience or knowledge
Essential:

  • Understanding of structural engineering (civil, construction or structural dynamics).
  • Awareness of relevant offshore wind design.
  • Good knowledge of structural software SACS and CAD or any other modelling software.

Desirable

  • Have 10+ years as project Manager.
  • Have managed a Capex of 5 million and above.
  • English or German

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal management.
  • Providing technical input and assessment of large-scale construction to a high standard including reports, contacts and proposals
  • Reviewing and preparing technical geothermal designs
  • 5 engineering experts within their chosen field that you will liaison and support

You MUST have the right to work in the EU as sponsorship is not provided.

Possible extension following conclusion of the 18-month contract based on performance.

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
