Project Leader

Project Leader Amsterdam, Netherlands – Energy Industry

START: January 2024

DURATION: 12 months rolling contract (2 years of work)

LOCATION: Amsterdam, The Netherlands

WORKING PATTERN: 1 day at office, 1 day at site. Rest from home.

HOURS: 32-40 hours per week

We are currently searching for a Project Leader for a client based near to Amsterdam. You will coordinate the preparation, implementation, and aftercare of the construction of underground infrastructure projects.

Project Leader – Responsibilities:

  • Making an inventory of the client requests, municipalities, and initiators in all phases of the project.
  • Determining and registering the hard planning for the projects to be carried out.
  • Coordinating any claims for damages and working on behalf of the client in situations.
  • Maintaining contacts with various internal and external parties such as contractors, municipalities and contact persons within the combi-partners.
  • Periodically discuss the performance and progress of the projects, as well as, representing the project organization at preparatory and implementation meetings.

Project Leader – Requirements:

  • HBO working and thinking level.
  • Experience in underground infrastructure and telecommunications.
  • Experience with civil engineering work.
  • Knowledge of combination infrastructure work.
  • Knowledge of and experience of project management methods, project management certification (Prince2 / IPMA-D. Knowledge of (automated) planning methodologies.

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.

Kane joined g2 in April 2023 as an Academy & Systems Trainer.

His role involves teaching the consultants that are new to the company the foundations of recruitment and our systems before then helping them to upskill in areas specific to each consultant. Working closely with different consultants and watching them implement the feedback, apply it, and then benefit off the back of it.
