Project Manager – Retrofit

My Housing Association client based in Southwest London/Surrey Border have been unsuccessful in recruiting to several positions and have reached out to g2 to support them. The organisation holds around 7500 units, of which 40% are standard residential housing units / 60% are Flats & Blocks.

Looking for a Project Manager with “fire in their belly”, who could manage two projects:

1) Retrofit Project (focus).
2) Fire Risk Assessment Project (potentially).

Skills/Experience/Requirements

  • Previously managed & overseen retrofit works (insulation) & render on the sides of buildings.
  • Installation of PV Cells (Solar).
  • Have previously dealt with/overseen projects worth anywhere between £250k to £4 million within a social housing/local authority setting.


Key Details

  • Contract Length: 6 Months
  • Rates: £negotiable DOE.

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
