I am working with a council based in Surrey seeking a Revenues & Benefits Quality Assurance Officer to join their Finance team.
Ensuring the accuracy and quality of our Benefits and Local Taxation functions, using Academy system
Maintain a strong knowledge of relevant legislation.
Assess DHPs, appeals, and overpayments
Handle complex data and communicate diplomatically.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager.
Prepare for Tribunals and address complaints.
Provide training on Benefits and Local Taxation.
Proficiency in Academy system
Current knowledge of Benefits and Local Taxation.
Basic DBS disclosure
Job Type: Temporary
Location: Remote working is available, with commute into Surrey for initial training
Contract length: 6 months with possibility of extension
Rate: £Negotiable DOE
