Safety Inspector

g2 Recruitment is offering a fantastic permanent opportunity for ATEX Inspectors with an electrical engineering background to join a client in Rotterdam, with an expanding workload. We're looking for professionals experienced in E&I aspects of ATEX, specifically in cabinet systems, control protection systems, and hazardous areas.

This role requires independent, self-motivated individuals with strong ATEX inspection experience in heavy industries such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, refining, shipbuilding, and offshore platforms. You will primarily work on-site in Rotterdam, with bi-weekly office visits in South Holland.

THIS IS A PERMANENT POSITION - NOT FREELANCE

Key Details:

  • Start Date: Q1 - Q2 2025
  • Location: On-site in Rotterdam, Office in South Holland
  • Salary: €3,000 - €5,000 Gross per month (over 12 months) + 8% holiday pay + Company car

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Education: HBO / Electrical Engineering
  • Experience: 5+ years in heavy industries as an ATEX Inspector
  • Certifications: ATEX Certificate, Electrical Engineering + E&I background
  • Skills: Experience with low voltage inspections
  • Languages: Dutch (desirable), English (essential)

Our Three Pillars of Training

Academy:
Week 1 is a series of remote sessions to learn all things systems, followed by a 1 week academy process which is a mixture of classroom and deskside this will be in one of our UK offices and usually consists of 3-8 other consultants all starting their journey together.

Experienced Modules:
These are a variety of sessions curated by us designed to support consultants as they are progressing through the career ladder, the aim is to ensure consultants at all levels have access to L&D.

Junior Management Programme:
Ran by our head of L&D this programme is designed to support junior managers as they start their management career. This involves things like personal branding, time management and ends in a business plan which is presented to members of the Exec board and senior management team.
