G2 are currently looking for a sales engineer to join my client based in Germany, offices on the West side of Cologne, who are currently looking for a sales engineer to join them selling power plant solutions for the renewable sector.
The client requires an sales engineer to work on ongoing projects for various process industries, the client uses a unique technology for on site power generation.
The role would be to work as an sales engineer, covering direct sales to end client plant operators, developing new and existing client relationships, solutions based selling for a process plant manufacturer.
Sales Engineer – Sales Advisor – Specification:

LOCATION: Germany, Cologne / Hybrid home working considered
- Technical sales background, understanding of engineering principles
- Experience working on industrial / energy / process plant type projects (equipment)
- Ability to build new and long-lasting client relationships
- Ideally knowledge of international engineering projects, companies
- Happy to work internationally and travel as required
- English language is essential, other languages skills are beneficial
- The client is working on an power and energy generation projects; the role involves speaking with existing clients and building relationships with new clients, who would require these systems for their own plants. It is likely that the industries you would work with would cover industrial manufacturing, chemical, FMCG and the petrochemical sectors.
