2. What's the point of this policy?
2.1 The idea is that we tell you how we deal your "personal data". (This is the technical term for
information about any identified or identifiable living person). Please read on to find out what kinds
of personal data we collect, how we use and protect it, to whom we disclose it and how you can access and rectify it.
2.2 Please don't use our site and submit your personal data to us unless accept this policy and the practices described in it. If you do use our websites or submit personal data to us, we'll assume that you do accept it.
3. Might the policy change?
3.1 It may well do and so you should check it whenever you visit our site. We'll assume you agree
to the revised policy if you use the site after the effective date shown at the top of the policy.
4. What personal or other data do we collect?
4.1 We collect and store the information which you give us via forms on our site, uploads such as Curriculum Vitae and proof of identity or submission via email, telephone, social media or post. This information usually includes your -
name, address, email address, phone numbers, work and education history, your nationality and tax residency and relevant sensitive personal data as defined in the Data Protection Act 1988, if any and so on - or when communicating with us by email or in some other way.
4.2 We collect and store information you provide when subscribing to a service (such as e-mail updates), participate in discussion boards or social media on our sites, enter a survey or other similar interaction.
4.3 If we place you with our clients, we will also request and hold copies of documentation showing your legal right to work and residency in the UK (or the country in which you have chosen to work) and financial information such as bank account details. We may record and store any telephone calls you have with us for record keeping and quality control purposes. We may undertake lawful checks, where a recruitment client or other third party reasonably requests such information and retain the information collated, such as criminal record checks (with your consent).
4.4 If you contact us we will keep a record of that correspondence and record details of transactions you carry out with us.
4.5 We collect personal data about you from companies in our group and combine data.
4.6 We may receive and store certain information automatically when you interact with us.
Examples include the internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet,
connection information such as browser type and version, your operating system and platform, a
unique reference number linked to the data you enter on our system, login details, the full URL
clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time), cookie number, activity on our
website including the pages you visited and searches you made. This allows us to monitor site
performance and usage, and enabled us to ensure we are providing reasonable levels of
performance and helps us to identify functionality that is used more commonly, and therefore allows us to develop these areas further.
4.7 We may collect supplemental information about you from third parties. For example, we may
conduct a credit check by obtaining additional information about you from a credit reference agency, as permitted by law.
5. What about cookies?

5.5 Our websites may use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc.

use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on
servers in the United States.
Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.
6. How do we process (use) your personal data?
6.1 We use your personal data to provide our recruitment agency and business services, which are primarily the arrangement of placements between our clients and candidates but can include other services such as providing industry data and updates to you and delivering training. Our placement services will include: If you are a candidate, CV searching, sending you job alerts, sending your CV and other personal data to clients who may be interested in employing you or contracting for your services, communicating with parties to finalise and manage a placement, producing contractual and compliance paperwork and paying you or your intermediary for your services. sending service messages, processing payments and/or fulfilling orders. If you are a client, then we will communicate with you in order to deliver our services, finalise and manage a placement and collect and enforce payment.
6.2 We use your personal data to help us communicate with you effectively should you try to contact us via our site.
6.3 We may use your personal data to send you marketing emails (or other communications) with details of our services which may be of interest to you including information about special offers or promotions. 7. How do we protect personal data?
7.1 Security is a high priority. We take appropriate precautions to protect personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure, alteration or destruction using the same safeguards as we use for our own proprietary information.
7.2 Don't forget that email and other electronic communications are not secure if they haven't
been encrypted. Your communications may pass through servers in a number of countries before they reach us. So we don't accept responsibility for any unauthorised access to or loss of personal
data that stems from a cause beyond our control. Nor can we be held responsible for the actions

8. To whom do we disclose personal data?
8.1 We may allow access to your personal data by third parties who supply us with a service - for
the purpose of their service only and in accordance with our instructions. Examples include website hosts and businesses which assist us in undertaking communications or monitoring our site, our suppliers and sub-contractors.

8.4 We may share your personal information with any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006.

9. How can you access and correct personal data?
