1. Who are we?

1.1 We are G2 Recruitment Solutions Limited. Our contact details

1.2 We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under the Data Protection Act 1998. Our registration number is 04940199.

2. What's the point of this policy?

2.1 The idea is that we tell you how we deal your "personal data". (This is the technical term for

information about any identified or identifiable living person). Please read on to find out what kinds

of personal data we collect, how we use and protect it, to whom we disclose it and how you can access and rectify it.

2.2 Please don't use our site and submit your personal data to us unless accept this policy and the practices described in it. If you do use our websites or submit personal data to us, we'll assume that you do accept it.

3. Might the policy change?

3.1 It may well do and so you should check it whenever you visit our site. We'll assume you agree

to the revised policy if you use the site after the effective date shown at the top of the policy.

4. What personal or other data do we collect?

4.1 We collect and store the information which you give us via forms on our site, uploads such as Curriculum Vitae and proof of identity or submission via email, telephone, social media or post. This information usually includes your -

name, address, email address, phone numbers, work and education history, your nationality and tax residency and relevant sensitive personal data as defined in the Data Protection Act 1988, if any and so on - or when communicating with us by email or in some other way.

4.2 We collect and store information you provide when subscribing to a service (such as e-mail updates), participate in discussion boards or social media on our sites, enter a survey or other similar interaction.

4.3 If we place you with our clients, we will also request and hold copies of documentation showing your legal right to work and residency in the UK (or the country in which you have chosen to work) and financial information such as bank account details. We may record and store any telephone calls you have with us for record keeping and quality control purposes. We may undertake lawful checks, where a recruitment client or other third party reasonably requests such information and retain the information collated, such as criminal record checks (with your consent).

4.4 If you contact us we will keep a record of that correspondence and record details of transactions you carry out with us. 

4.5 We collect personal data about you from companies in our group and combine data.

4.6 We may receive and store certain information automatically when you interact with us.

Examples include the internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet,

connection information such as browser type and version, your operating system and platform, a

unique reference number linked to the data you enter on our system, login details, the full URL

clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time), cookie number, activity on our

website including the pages you visited and searches you made. This allows us to monitor site

performance and usage, and enabled us to ensure we are providing reasonable levels of

performance and helps us to identify functionality that is used more commonly, and therefore allows us to develop these areas further.

4.7 We may collect supplemental information about you from third parties. For example, we may

conduct a credit check by obtaining additional information about you from a credit reference agency, as permitted by law.

5. What about cookies?

5.1 Like many websites we use cookies. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your

browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive so that the site can

remember who you are. A cookie will typically contain the name of the domain from which the

cookie has come, the "lifetime" of the cookie, and a value, usually a randomly generated unique number. Cookies cannot read your hard drive.

5.2 Session cookies are temporary cookies that remain in the cookie file of your browser until you leave the site. We use session cookies to recognize you throughout each visit to our site. Our site cannot function without session cookies.

5.3 Persistent cookies stay in the cookie file of your browser for longer (though how long will

depend on the lifetime of the specific cookie). We use persistent cookies to recognize you when you seek to log back into our service in order to simplify the logging-in process. Our persistent cookies are encrypted to minimise the chance of your login details being breached.

5.4 Usually you can modify the settings of your browser to accept or reject all cookies or be

to delete cookies, visit www.allaboutcookies.org. Our site's functionality may be limited if you reject cookies.

5.5 Our websites may use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc.

("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help

the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your

use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on

servers in the United States.

Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

5.6 You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. By using this our websites, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

6. How do we process (use) your personal data?

6.1 We use your personal data to provide our recruitment agency and business services, which are primarily the arrangement of placements between our clients and candidates but can include other services such as providing industry data and updates to you and delivering training.  Our placement services will include: If you are a candidate, CV searching, sending you job alerts, sending your CV and other personal data to clients who may be interested in employing you or contracting for your services, communicating with parties to finalise and manage a placement, producing contractual and compliance paperwork and paying you or your intermediary for your services. sending service messages, processing payments and/or fulfilling orders.  If you are a client, then we will communicate with you in order to deliver our services, finalise and manage a placement and collect and enforce payment.

6.2 We use your personal data to help us communicate with you effectively should you try to contact us via our site.

6.3 We may use your personal data to send you marketing emails (or other communications) with details of our services which may be of interest to you including information about special offers or promotions. If you do not want us to use your data in this way then please contact us at unsubscribe@g2recruitment.com or unsubscribe when you receive such emails.

6.4 We may use cookies, IP addresses or personal data to recognise you when you visit or return

to our site, to track anonymised traffic and usage patterns, to prevent or detect fraud or abuses or to help us improve our site.

6.5 We retain personal data from closed accounts (completed permanent appointments and temporary supplies) in order to comply with legal obligations, enforce

our terms and conditions, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations and take other actions as permitted by law.

6.6 We may access, remove, alter or store or otherwise use any personal data if we think you

have or may have breached our terms and conditions or to enforce our rights or protect the public or where if we are required to do so by law or appropriate authority.

6.7 We will not pass your personal data to companies outside of our group for marketing purposes, without your consent.

6.8 ‘Processing’ includes the obtaining, recording or holding of information or data or carrying out any operation or set of operations on the information or data, including organising, altering, retrieving, consulting, using, disclosing, combining, or destroying the information or data.

7. How do we protect personal data?

7.1 Security is a high priority. We take appropriate precautions to protect personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure, alteration or destruction using the same safeguards as we use for our own proprietary information.

7.2 Don't forget that email and other electronic communications are not secure if they haven't

been encrypted. Your communications may pass through servers in a number of countries before they reach us. So we don't accept responsibility for any unauthorised access to or loss of personal

data that stems from a cause beyond our control. Nor can we be held responsible for the actions

or omissions of other users or third parties who may misuse your personal data which they collect from the site.

8. To whom do we disclose personal data?

8.1 We may allow access to your personal data by third parties who supply us with a service - for

the purpose of their service only and in accordance with our instructions. Examples include website hosts and businesses which assist us in undertaking communications or monitoring our site, our suppliers and sub-contractors.

8.2 We may disclose personal data so far as reasonably necessary if we think you have or may have breached our terms and conditions, or to enforce our rights, or protect the public, or where we

have reasonable grounds for believing that a criminal act has been committed, or if we are required to do so by law or appropriate authority

8.3 In the event that we sell, merge or buy any business or assets, we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.  Alternatively if all or substantially all, of our assets are acquired by a third party, your personal data held by us will be one of the transferred assets.

8.4 We may share your personal information with any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006.

8.5 Except as otherwise specifically included in this policy, this document addresses only the use and disclosure of information we collect from you. If you disclose your information to third parties, whether they are other users of our site or other websites, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of your information.

9. How can you access and correct personal data?

9.1 You can access and rectify your personal data by contacting us at dataservices@g2recruitment.com . If you wish to have in writing all the personal information we have on you, we may charge an administration fee in line with applicable data protection laws.

9.2 We ask that you ensure that your information is kept complete, accurate and current. If you do not wish us to hold your information we will remove all such information from our database upon request to dataservices@g2recruitment.com.

10 Where we store your personal data.

10.1The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us, for one of our suppliers or clients. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

This policy is subject to the laws of England and Wales and the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
