One of my local authority clients are currently on the lookout for an experienced Housing Options Officer to join their team on an interim basis for a 12 month period.
Housing Options Officer
Contract Length: 12 Months
Rate: DOE
Start Date: ASAP
Hours p/w: 37
Hybrid working: Needed in office X2/X3 days per week.
Interviews: Friday 8th March 2024
Successful candidates must have a minimum of 2 years post HRA 2017 experience dealing with Housing Options cases within a local authority setting from the initial triaging/assessments, through to prevention/relief duties and making section 184 decisions.
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload and will also be expected to be able to offer some support and guidance to some lesser experienced members within the team when called upon.
